Kent Fire Service
So what place have fitness qualifications in a Fire Service?
FormulaGfi are helping Kent Fire Service upskill a member of each of Kent's fire stations staff with a Fitness Instructing qualification. By the end of the programme, up to 60 fire fighters will be qualified to Level 2 - that's at least one fire fighter per station.
It is hoped that having trained fitness professioanls at each station will help increase the average fitness level of every fire fighter - ultimately, leading to a better service to the public.
Kent Fire Service are possibly the first service to incorporate such a radical programme into their already busy schedule.
